Getting Started - Learning and Enablement community, where we hope you will find valuable and insightful content to help your journey with ServiceNow’s Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) suite of Products and Applications. Our goal is to enable your learning, provide rich and relevant content to help your understanding of SPM, and most importantly we want to ensure your planned outcomes are successful.

1st, Welcome to SPM! We are excited that you are looking for content to help you achieve your outcomes and successfully deliver value back to your stakeholders and customers.

Learning and Enablement are important and a key part of your success plan because, without a full understanding of SPM, you might miss the opportunity to take full advantage of all the features and capabilities of each area of SPM.

You might have questions such as: How does all this connect together? What are the workflows I could leverage, how do all these features support an end-to-end process for my group, where do I start, who should own what parts of SPM, so many questions to answer as you get started. We are here to help. Finally, please be sure to click SUBSCRIBE to ensure you are informed of new or updated content.

Recommended Training - Training is often overlooked until it's needed so we highly recommend starting your training early to ensure you and your teams are fully informed and aware of the feature and functionality of SPM.

  3. Product Documentation - detailed SPM feature information by family release.
  4. Product Documentation Store Apps - detailed release notes for the SPM Store Apps.
  5. ServiceNow Store Apps - many of the SPM features are delivered in the ServiceNow Store, subscribe to get the latest updates.
  6. Product Learning and Training - see recommend training above with Intro, or click this link to find all the great training available.
  7. Successful Customers - learn from other customers how their success was achieved.
  8. ServiceNow Support - having a challenge with ServiceNow, enter a ticket on ServiceNow Support. You will need a Support ID.
  9. Resource Center - be sure to check out the Resource Center, where you find many additional learning and enablement aids.
  10. Learning Videos - short quick videos to advance your understanding of SPM.
  11. Learning Videos (APM) - short videos to learn about the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) in support of APM.
  12. Learn about your Journey - learn how to measure and calibrate your organization's fitness using the Fitness Journey.

I'm upgrading, what has changed? - Glad you asked because we have a collection of documents that will help answer your questions and provide insights into new features and functionality. One of the most frequently referenced documents is what we call Delta Decks. These are detailed decks that explain features by each release, so as you upgrade you can see key features that might be valuable to your organization. The most current deck is for Tokyo, this is for San Diego, this for Rome release, and archived LINK.

Glossary of Terms - An often asked question, where can I find a document to understand the terminology, acronyms, and phrases used within ServiceNow's SPM solution? See the Glossary of Terms attached below.
